I am an apprentice ABS  Bladesmith.  I have been making knives since sometime around 1990.  I work with both carbon steel and damascus, both of which are forged to shape in 1 of 2 propane forges.  All knives are handmade by myself from raw bar steel.  Blades are typically flat ground and differentially tempered.  I attended ABS Bladesmithing school in Arkansas, successfully completing the following classes:  Intro to Bladesmithing, Damascus, and Handles and Guards.  All classes are taught by an ABS Mastersmith.
